Terms & Conditions

1) Purpose - Mission Mentoring provides a service to register mentees, voluntary mentors, propose suitable partnerships and support the mentoring relationship

• Specifically Mission Mentoring will provide on line support for mentors and mentees for at least one year from the commencement of the mentoring partnership, although it is the intention to provide this support for longer than one year

2) Administrators – the scheme is administered by Nigel Daly and other staff as nominated from time to time, on behalf of Panahpur Christian Trust, a registered Charity

3) Information – Mission Mentoring will take reasonable steps to keep information supplied by mentees and mentors confidential, and will not disclose or pass this on third parties

• Specifically Mentee information will only be made available to the scheme administrators and the chosen Mentor
• Specifically Mentor registration information will only be made available to potential mentees and the scheme administrators
• Specifically the Mentor confidential information section shall only be made available to the scheme administrators and not potential mentees
• Mission Mentoring cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of information supplied to it

4) Mentee Registration Payment – Mission Mentoring use Paypal.co.uk for all financial transactions, and any queries about these payments should be directed to Paypal. Mission Mentoring reserve the right to vary the fee from time to time

5) Mentee Registration Fee Bursaries – Mission Mentoring will at its sole discretion waive the mentee registration fee should a person not have a credit or debit card or in our belief, be genuinely unable to pay the fee

6) Mentee Registration Fee Refunds – Mission Mentoring will consider refunds of the registration fee, in cases where no mentor has been offered to a registered mentee within three month and the mentee specifically requests this

7) Mentee Approval - Mission Mentoring reserves the absolute right not to accept any potential mentee onto the scheme or to withdraw a mentee from the scheme, who in their opinion does not have the suitable skills or experience or role or commitment required for the scheme, based on the stated eligibility requirements on the web site. In such cases, full refunds of any registration fee will be offered.

8) Mentor Approval – Mission Mentoring reserves the absolute right not to approve any potential mentor or to withdraw approval from a mentor who in their opinion does not have the suitable skills or experience or commitment required for the scheme, based on the stated eligibility requirements on the web site

9) Mentor/Mentee Confidentiality – as explicitly stated on the web site a mentor can share information about the mentoring relationship with the scheme administrators should they require help. Both mentor and mentee are expected to provided feedback on request about their mentoring relationship

10) Web Site - Mission Mentoring will take reasonable steps to provide access to the web site by arranging hosting services but do not warrant to provide any specific availability

11) Services – Mission Mentoring will aim to respond to emails within 7 days but do not warrant any specific service standards for the scheme as allocation of mentors to mentees are subject to the availability of suitable mentors

12) Materials within the website are available for personal use and within the mentoring relationship, they should not be used or reproduced elsewhere without obtaining written permission from us

13) Mentor choice - Mission Mentoring will seek to include a suitable mentor of the same gender in a mentee choice of potential mentors where a suitable one is available, but do not guarantee to provide a mentor of the same gender amongst those offered.
 
14) Complaints – in the unlikely event of a complaint please contact Nigel Daly in writing at admin@missionmentoring.org  giving full details of the complaint.
